“We felt it was time to take a step into the unknown,” said our creative directors Natalie and Aneta when describing Lejaan’s latest collection from home accessories. Our Bold Overlock collection is exactly that step, one that leads to a more playful, bold and distinctive style.

Everyday Artifact

Even at first glance, it’s clear that our Bold Overlock throws don’t just complement an interior, they transform it. With their distinctive overlock hem, original abstract patterns and imaginative colours, they become a quiet yet powerful visual element in any room.

When describing this collection, it’s designers said, “A throw blanket can serve much like a painting; shedding more light on wood, adding warmth to concrete and softening the hard edges of metal.”

Colours in Dialogue

Each design has a carefully picked balance between bold and calm, playful and down-to-earth. “We wanted a bold design, yet one that is anchored in a harmony that’s long-lasting,” said the throw’s designers. The blankets are available in various shades: purple-grey, green-blue and beige-brown.

Overlock: An Art Frame

What is overlock? It's a type of distinctive hemming that emphasises the edges of the fabric. In the case of our Bold Overlock, it acts as a picture frame.

“It's not just an extra decoration. It's a gesture that enhances the pattern and gives the whole design a bold outline,” said its designers. It's what gives each throw an even stronger visual presence.

A Material Made for Hugging

The throw blankets are woven from a blend of New Zealand wool and cotton, with a higher GSM weight. They’re heavier blankets that feels snug and huggable. Their wool and cotton fibres work naturally with the colours, subtly brightening them and creating an effect of depth and texture. This is what makes the blankets lively, even in the calm shade variation.

Reversible Design

Each blanket is reversible, offering different colour dominants. Simply by reversing it, you can instantly transform the room’s atmosphere. “The pattern designs feel like spontaneous gestures. We wanted the throws to convey movement, life, transformation,” added Aneta and Natalie.
